Direct Sales Representatives
Reporting to the Branch Manager, the sales representatives will be responsible for acquisition of new business within the assigned Sales locations. The position is on contract terms for a period of 12 months.
This challenging opportunity to contribute to the growth of our business will involve the following:
- Deliver set sales targets in asset and liability for KCB Bank.
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Participate in product campaigns to ensure product information is readily available to customers.
- Conduct door-to-door direct selling.
- Seek customer feedback on bank products.
- Provide regular sales reports.
Qualifications and Experience
For the above position, the successful applicants should:
- Be a graduate from a recognized university.
- Must have a minimum Mean grade of C- (Minus) in K.C.S.E.
- Have excellent analytical and interpersonal skills.
- Have a passion and commitment to quality service.
- Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Have the ability to meet stringent targets within defined deadlines.
- Experience in sales or client relationship management will be an added advantage.

Bancassurance Sales Representative
Reporting to the Bancassurance Regional Sales Manager, the Bancassurance Sales Representative will be responsible for driving sales of insurance & Retail products in the assigned branches. The role holder will be responsible for the management of the day-to-day insurance business by providing quick, seamless, timely, efficient and responsive service to customers at the branch level.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve sales targets (both Retail & Insurance) in accordance with the budgets provided; Deliver exceptional sales performance by identifying and meeting customer needs through selling & cross selling of General and Life insurance products.
- Retention of customers within the assigned portfolio – Ensure retention ratio of 85%.
- Drive the Life Partnership and ensure that set sales budgets are met.
- Provide pipeline data as requested. Monitor own sales performance on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis and provide results to the Sales Managers.
- Own customer queries and complaints around insurance products and resolve in a timely manner. Escalate any unresolved queries to the Line Manager or the Head Office Bancassurance team.
- Ensure accuracy of each application and all other customer documents. Accountable for the accuracy and quality of each application and supporting documents completed and submitted.
- Ensure all claims are reported to Head office Bancassurance team as guided while providing timely feedback to the clients. Assist the client to attach relevant documentation and have claim forms well completed.
- Ensure premiums are collected strictly as per the credit control policy.
- Conduct Branch staff training on Bancassurance products.
- Ensure compliance to the Group’s policies in delivering day-to-day business expectations.
For the above position, the successful applicant should have the following:
- Bachelor’s degree in insurance, Actuarial Science, Marketing or Business Related from a Recognized Higher Learning Institution 
- Certificate /Diploma/ Higher Diploma in Insurance, BCOM (Insurance Option) BSC (Actuarial Science) Marketing and Fellow of the Life Management Association (FLMI)
- One (1) Year work experience in Bancassurance, General or Life Insurance sales 
- Six (6) Months experience in a customer facing role or relationship Management.
