Terms of Service
- Contract Duration: Three (3) years.
- Note: Employees currently serving on permanent terms will retain their substantive permanent and pensionable terms.

Department of Agriculture, Livestock, and Aquaculture Development
1. Director, Livestock Production Officer – Job Group ‘R’ (1 Post)
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and implement livestock production programs and projects.
- Address challenges in livestock production, processing, storage, and marketing.
- Liaise and network with stakeholders in the livestock sector.
Requirements:
- KCPE and KCSE certificates.
- Five (5) years of experience as a Principal Livestock Production Officer (Job Group ‘N’) or equivalent.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Animal Science, Agriculture, Agribusiness, or related fields.
- Master’s Degree in a relevant field is required.
- Certificate in computer applications.
- Registration with the Animal Production Society of Kenya (advantageous).
- Demonstrated managerial and administrative competence.
2. Director, Veterinary Services – Job Group ‘R’ (1 Post)
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Coordinate veterinary services and solutions.
- Network with stakeholders to enhance veterinary practices.
Requirements:
- Kenyan citizenship with KCPE and KCSE certificates.
- Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine (BVM).
- Master’s Degree in a relevant veterinary or animal sciences field.
- Seven (7) years of relevant work experience, including three (3) years in a managerial role.
- Registered with the Kenya Veterinary Board.
- Certificate in computer applications.
- Demonstrated managerial and professional competence.
Department of Health Services
1. Clerical Officer III – Job Group ‘F’ (3 Posts)
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Compile statistical records and maintain filing systems.
- Process appointments, promotions, and other HR-related tasks.
- Draft letters and process financial/statistical data.
- Prepare payment vouchers and handle dispatch duties.
Requirements:
- Kenyan citizenship with KCPE and KCSE certificates.
- Certificate in Business Management, Accounts, Finance, Procurement, Human Resources, ICT, Records Management, Secretarial, or Library Services.
