Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a comprehensive country strategy aligned with the company’s vision.
2. Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, build strong client relationships, and expand market share.
3. Operational Excellence: Oversee all operational aspects, including air cargo handling, warehousing, and distribution.
4. Financial Management: Manage the P&L for the country, monitor financial performance, and implement cost-saving measures.
5. Team Leadership: Recruit, develop, and lead a high-performing team.
6. Compliance: Ensure adherence to all relevant regulations and industry standards.
7. Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks to the business.
8. Reporting: Regularly report performance metrics, financial results, and operational updates.
Qualifications and Skills:
a. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field. In the absence of a Degree, experience will be considered.
b. Proven track record in the logistics industry, with a focus on air cargo handling and warehousing.
c. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
d. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
e. Strong financial acumen, including P&L management.
f. Fluency in English.
