Key Purpose Statement
The role is responsible for all Microbiological sampling and testing as per KORE and regulatory standards. It is also responsible for plant GMP monitoring, plant CIP and sanitation review
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Monitor product and package quality and GMP/GLP at plant
- Initiate RCA for deviations or non-conforming processes and products
- Product release upon meeting specification
- Incoming inspection of materials
- Dispatch processes of out going preforms
- Good manufacturing practices implementation
- Root cause analysis for safety and quality non-conformities
- Carry out safety awareness to the shop floor staff
- Internal calibration of laboratory equipment
- Participate in risk assessments for EOSH, Quality and Food safety
Skills, Experience & Education
Experience
- Minimum 2 years in similar role or a QC role
- Minimum 2 years in an FMCG, bottling or Food processing plant
Education
- Diploma or Bachelors of Science degree in Biochemistry/Chemistry/Microbiology/Food Science and Technology/Industrial of analytical Chemistry
