This role is responsible for implementation of global and local security safeguards in place for all CFAO group of companies’ premises in Kenya.
3. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE JOB
Operational Responsibilities
- Ensuring strict adherence to Security Policies and procedures by staff, visitors, and approved contractors.
- Continuously review and make recommendations on the process of controlling movement of visitors, suppliers and contractors within the group premises.
- Relieving caretakers at CFAO Mobility Kenya Nairobi branches when need arises.
- Vet security guards deployed to the various facilities and liaise with the service provider in keeping away undesirable characters.
- Supervise contracted security guards on the assignment and enforcing company policy on gates passes, delivery notes, and vetting of C.I.T Crews
- Assist the Head of security in Investigation of insecurity related incidents and reports.
- Support the Human Resource department in processing of Immigration related applications for expatriate staff and their dependents
- Active participant in the coordination of VIP movements from when they arrive in the country, local movement and departure out of the country
- Promoting and maintaining good relationships with external stakeholders including vendors and government agencies.
- Train and sensitize staff on security expectations in line with the policies and procedures of the company.
- Checking and confirming of serviceability of security electronic devices and report to management for action
- Issue and manage rights of access cards issued to staff and visitors in accessing various facilities.
- Issue and manage biometric access and alarm to specific staff who roles involve access to restricted areas like warehouse and those who open and close company premises respectively.
- With instructions from the Head of Security, participate in security audits for company premises, listed hotels, expatriate and company houses.
4. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Degree in Criminology or any other related field
Minimum level of experience required to perform effectively in the role
- At least 3 Years’ experience working in security for a large corporation
- Previous work experience in the National police service (Kenya Police)
