A team of faculty members from Moi University’s School of Business and Economics, alongside the MU UNESCO Chair on Enterprise Management and Sustainability, is collaborating with faculty from the University of Cape Coast in Ghana (UCC), Mount Kenya University (MKU), and the Institute of Financial Management in Tanzania (IFM), in partnership with Hochschule Bonn-Rhein-Sieg University of Applied Sciences, as part of the ART4Dev Project funded by DAAD/BMZ.

This initiative aims to equip participants with essential tools and skills to drive and sustain economic development. Students from all disciplines, whether pursuing bachelor’s or master’s degrees, are encouraged to participate in designing innovative solutions that positively impact society. They will be guided through a 6-step design thinking process to create solutions that address pressing community issues.

The innovation challenge will serve as an incubator for new ideas and solutions to the many challenges faced by Africa. After a thorough evaluation, the top five solutions will be invited to present their winning ideas at the SDG Impact Research Conference in Ghana, Kenya, Tanzania, or Germany.
