The Agricultural Development Corporation (ADC), a State Corporation under the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock Development, is seeking dynamic, result-oriented professionals to join its team. ADC plays a pivotal role in promoting agricultural development, and we are looking for individuals who are passionate about making a difference in the sector. Below are the positions currently available, each contributing uniquely to our mission:
1. Principal Engineer – Agriculture
This role involves leading the engineering team in implementing agricultural projects and overseeing the maintenance and development of farm infrastructure. The Principal Engineer ensures efficient resource utilization and compliance with engineering standards.
2. Principal Agricultural Officer – Crops
Responsible for strategic planning and supervision of crop production activities, this role aims to improve productivity and implement sustainable farming practices. The officer collaborates with research and development teams to introduce innovative agricultural methods.
3. Agricultural Officer I
This position focuses on implementing crop and livestock production programs at the operational level. The officer provides technical guidance, ensures adherence to agricultural best practices, and supports the execution of development projects.
4. Veterinary Officer I
The Veterinary Officer is tasked with providing veterinary services, ensuring livestock health, and advising on disease prevention and control measures. The role involves monitoring animal welfare and enhancing livestock productivity.
5. Agricultural Officer II
Working closely with senior officers, this position assists in planning and executing agricultural initiatives. The officer supports capacity-building programs for farmers and ensures the implementation of ADC’s agricultural policies.
6. Research Officer II
This role involves conducting research to improve agricultural practices, develop innovative solutions, and address sector challenges. The Research Officer collaborates with various stakeholders to translate findings into actionable recommendations.
7. ICT Officer II
The ICT Officer manages ADC’s technological infrastructure, ensuring efficient operations and robust digital solutions. Responsibilities include system maintenance, data management, and supporting digital transformation within the organization.
8. Corporate Communication Officer II
This position handles the organization’s public relations and communication strategies. The officer develops content, manages media relations, and ensures effective dissemination of ADC’s vision and activities to stakeholders.
9. Legal Officer II
The Legal Officer provides legal advice, ensures compliance with statutory regulations, and represents ADC in legal matters. The role also involves drafting and reviewing contracts and other legal documents.
10. Customer Assistant/Switchboard Operator
As the first point of contact, this role entails managing communication channels, directing inquiries, and ensuring excellent customer service. The Customer Assistant contributes to maintaining a positive image of the organization.
