CONSULTANCY FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF AN APHRC COMMUNICATION AND ENGAGEMENT STRATEGY

Deadline:  August 7, 2024

The Center’s geographic footprint, presence on different platforms, portfolio of projects implemented, and media coverage have all increased significantly during the current strategic period. This increased visibility and growth comes with a similarly significant challenge of coordination, consistency, and impact tracking. APHRC’s comprehensive center-wide Communication and Engagement Strategy (CES), which will be executed under the Policy Communications and Engagement (PEC) program, aims to provide a framework that supports the implementation of APHRC’s Strategic Plan, ensuring better coordination, greater outreach with increased awareness of the Center’s activities, consistent messaging, efficient engagement with internal and external stakeholders, and comprehensive impact tracking. Additionally, the CES will help foster the “one APHRC” culture across programs, projects, and regions.

POLICY AND ADVOCACY OFFICER

Deadline:  August 2, 2024

The APHRC seeks to recruit a Policy and Advocacy Officer to work on the two projects within the Policy Engagement and Communications (PEC) Program. The Officer will report to the Policy and Advocacy Project Manager while working closely with other project team members in PEC and other APHRC units. Externally, the officer will work closely with researchers, ministries of health and civil society organizations, among other relevant stakeholders.

CONSULTANCY TO CARRY OUT EVALUATION AND BENCHMARKING OF THE APHRC PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT AND APPRAISAL SYSTEM

Deadline:  August 1, 2024

APHRC seeks to engage the services of an expert consultant/firm to conduct a comprehensive assessment of our performance management and appraisal system and carry out a benchmarking exercise with comparable institutions with the aim of establishing areas of strength and areas for improvement and industry best practices. The consultant will make recommendations for improvement/modification and provide insights to enhance the effectiveness of the performance management and appraisal system. The consultant will work closely with APHRC’s People and Culture team.

CONSULTANCY TO FACILITATE THE ENGAGEMENT OF PEOPLE WITH MENTAL HEALTH LIVED EXPERIENCE IN THE MENTAL HEALTH DATA PRIZE – AFRICA 2024

Deadline:  July 29, 2024

This is an individual consultancy assignment requiring a person with experience in the design, facilitation and documentation of strategic plans on engaging mental health lived experiences or community empowerment models. The successful applicant should submit relevant work experiences working in such an environment and developing lived experience frameworks. The consultant must be available to do the work between August, 2024, and October, 2025.
