80 Vacancies Open In Kiambu County Government

Kiambu County Public Service Board is a body corporate established under Section 57 of the County Governments Act, 2012 pursuant to Article 235 of the Constitution of Kenya 2010. Section 59 of the County Governments Act 2012 outlines the functions of the CPSB, including appointing persons to hold or act in offices of the county public service, including in the Boards of cities and urban areas within the County, and confirming appointments.

Pursuant to the above constitutional and legal provision, the Board invites applications from suitably qualified persons who wish to be considered for the positions listed below in the Department of Education, Gender, Culture, and Social Services.

Available Positions

1. Electrical And Electronics Instructor
   • Responsibilities:
     • Teach and instruct students in the field of electrical and electronics technology.
     • Develop and implement curriculum and course materials.
     • Assess and evaluate students’ progress and performance.
     • Provide hands-on training and practical demonstrations.
2. Motor Vehicle Technology Instructor
   • Responsibilities:
     • Instruct students in motor vehicle technology and maintenance.
     • Develop and deliver curriculum and instructional materials.
     • Evaluate students’ technical skills and knowledge.
     • Supervise practical sessions and ensure safety standards.
3. Building Technology Instructor
   • Responsibilities:
     • Teach students the principles and practices of building technology.
     • Create and update curriculum and instructional content.
     • Monitor and assess students’ progress.
     • Conduct practical training sessions.
4. Hair Dressing And Beauty Therapy Instructor
   • Responsibilities:
     • Provide instruction in hair dressing and beauty therapy techniques.
     • Develop course outlines and teaching materials.
     • Evaluate students’ practical and theoretical knowledge.
     • Conduct hands-on training sessions.
5. Food Processing Technology Instructor
   • Responsibilities:
     • Instruct students in food processing techniques and technologies.
     • Develop and implement course materials.
     • Assess students’ knowledge and skills.
     • Supervise practical training and ensure safety compliance.
6. Metal Processing Technology Instructor
   • Responsibilities:
     • Teach metal processing techniques and applications.
     • Develop curriculum and instructional materials.
     • Monitor and evaluate students’ progress.
     • Conduct practical training sessions.
7. Building Technology (Carpentry Option) Instructor
   • Responsibilities:
     • Provide instruction in carpentry and building technology.
     • Create and update course materials and curriculum.
     • Evaluate students’ skills and knowledge.
