2. AMO Safety and Compliance Officer (IRC4402) – •   The candidate will ensure healthy, safe and secure working environment within the AMO in compliance with the relevant industry, regulatory and legislative requirements, company procedures, industry best practices and requirements of customer airlines. This is incorporated with the responsibility of coordinating occupational safety, health and environment programs throughout the AMO and the coordination of activities relevant in the maintenance of SMS and ISO Integrated Management System.

3. Quality Assurance Engineer (IRC4405) – •   The candidate will ensure regulatory requirements are upheld and that constant maintenance standards and organization procedures are applied to KQ/Customer aircraft to the end that an airworthy, reliable, quality product is provided and that this is done in a cost-effective manner. Also responsible to maintain an independent Quality System.

4. Senior Quality Assurance Engineer (IRC4403) – •   The candidate will review maintenance procedures and work instructions, supervise QA Engineers, conduct audits and investigations in order to ensure an airworthy, reliable, quality product/service is provided in a cost-effective manner. To ensure that technical staff work within the framework of the Kenya airways company procedures, and to coordinate and conduct company approval exams through the Quality Assessment Board for the Engineers applying for company authorization and recommend, or otherwise to Head of Quality for issue of authorizations. To satisfy the requirements of KCAA/EASA Part 145 and related requirements.

7. Senior Data Scientist (IRC4380) – • The holder of this position will be responsible for managing the data science and engineering team, planning projects, and building analytics models. They should have a strong problem-solving ability and a knack for statistical analysis. 

The expectation for this role is to have proper understanding of the application of various tools, data mining, methodologies, statistical techniques, algorithms, and machine learning and AI principles to identify trends, patterns, and insights from raw data. The holder will extract meaning from data, uncover insights and identify opportunities to inform business decision making.

UAS Flight and Ground Instructor (IRC4360) – •   The candidate will be responsible for the overall direction and performance of the UAS operations during ground and flight training including mission planning, execution and briefing, debriefing, aircrew resource management, ground and flight safety. The instructors must have an understanding of and comply with KCAA Regulations applicable to the airspace where the UAS operates. The instructor is the Pilot-in-Command of the ATO’s Unmanned Aerial Vehicles during training.
