DEPARTMENT OF FINANCE, REVENUE MANAGEMENT & ACCOUNTING
1. Deputy Director – Revenue Management (Job Group CPSB 04 ‘Q’) – 1 Post
Salary Scale: Ksh. 102,860 – 137,070 per month
Terms of Service: Permanent
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in planning, organizing, and supervising revenue matters.
- Provide advisory services on revenue management to the Director of Revenue Management.
- Ensure compliance with laws, financial regulations, and procedures related to revenue.
- Initiate and implement internal controls within the revenue department.
- Maintain accurate accounting records and prepare management reports.
- Develop new revenue streams and set annual collection targets.
2. Assistant Accountant General (Job Group CPSB 05 ‘P’) – 1 Post
Salary Scale: Ksh. 90,200 – 124,630 per month
Terms of Service: Permanent
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee compliance with accounting standards and systems, including IFMIS operations.
- Address audit matters and compile Treasury memoranda for allocated ministries.
- Track the implementation of Public Accounts Committee recommendations.
- Prepare bi-annual accounts and consolidate cash flow projections from departments.
- Maintain compliance with legal and Treasury circular requirements.
DEPARTMENT OF ENERGY, NATURAL, AND MINERAL RESOURCES
3. Director – Natural & Mineral Resources (Job Group CPSB 03 ‘R’) – 1 Post
Salary Scale: Ksh. 124,630 – 172,350 per month
Terms of Service: Contract
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise programs and coordinate functions related to natural and mineral resources.
- Develop and implement policies, legislation, and regulations for natural resources.
- Ensure compliance with environmental laws within the county.
- Vet and approve licensing for sand and mining activities and maintain relevant registers.
- Organize capacity-building programs for sand and artisanal mining cooperatives.
- Prepare and submit reports to the Chief Officer on the status of natural resources.
DEPARTMENT OF URBAN DEVELOPMENT
4. Principal Physical Planner (Job Group CPSB 06 ‘N’) – 1 Post (Re-advertisement)
Salary Scale: Ksh. 58,360 – 90,200 per month

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and monitor the implementation of physical development plans.
- Provide advice on development applications and control matters.
- Implement physical planning guidelines and maintain physical planning data.
- Conduct public education on physical planning issues.
- Convene physical planning liaison committee meetings and communicate decisions.
5. Senior Superintending Engineer (Structural) (Job Group CPSB 06 ‘N’) – 1 Post (Re-advertisement)
Salary Scale: Ksh. 58,360 – 90,200 per month

Key Responsibilities
- Plan and design structural projects, including buildings and marine works.
- Supervise construction projects and oversee general project administration.
- Prepare tender documents and cost estimates.
- Supervise staff within the structural engineering unit.

6. Senior Support Staff (Job Group CPSB 15 ‘D’) – 2 Posts
Salary Scale: Ksh. 16,870 – 19,220 per month
Terms of Service: Permanent
Key Responsibilities
- Perform cleaning and maintenance duties in designated areas.
- Undertake office messengerial duties.
- Prepare tea and clean utensils.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
