The Anti-Doping Agency of Kenya (ADAK) was established by The Government of Kenya through the Anti-Doping Act No. 5 of 2016, with its powers vested in a Board, headed by a Chairman.

The key mandate of the Agency is to protect athletes’ fundamental rights to participate in doping-free sport and thus promoting good health, fairness and equality for athletes in Kenya.

The Agency invites applications from suitable individuals to fill the following positions:

Vacancies

1. Front Office Assistant : Ksh. 45,570 p.m

Duties and Responsibilities

 Duties and responsibility will be to:-

 i)  Handle all enquiries in a professional and courteous manner, in person, on the telephone or via e-mail to ensure smooth running of activities and information;

ii) Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the reception area;

iii) Maintain vigilance of any security threats and report any security issues to the appropriate office;

2. Driver : Ksh. 33,480 p.m

Duties and Responsibilities

 Duties and responsibility will be to:-

i)  Drive a motor vehicle as authorized for official duty and assignments;

ii)  Carry out routine checks on the vehicle’s cooling, oil, tyre pressure, electrical and brake systems;

iii)  Maintain records of service and accessories;

3. Accountant : Ksh. 70,350 p.m

Duties and Responsibilities

Duties and responsibilities will be to:-

i)  Process payment vouchers;

ii) Prepare financial management reports;

iii) Comply with Public Finance Management Act, 2012 and in line with the ADAK Finance Manual;

iv) Carry out data capture in the financial system;

4. Information Communication & Technology Officer Ksh. 70,350 p.m

Duties and Responsibilities

Duties and responsibilities will entail:-

i) Configuring and maintaining Local Area Network and Wide Area Network;

ii) Carrying out systems analysis, design and programme specifications in liaison with users;

iii) Drawing up hardware specifications for Information Communication Technology equipment;

5. Compliance Officer : Kshs 70,350- 96,600 p.m

Duties and Responsibilities

 Duties and Responsibilities will entail:-

             i.  gathering and compiling data on compliance with anti-doping requirements;

          ii.   investigating non-compliance with anti-doping requirements;

         iii. searching premises suspected of storing Prohibited Substances;

6. Testing Officer : Ksh. 70,350 p.m

Duties and Responsibilities

i) Assist in establishing and maintaining the Registered Testing Pool (Track & Field and Road Running);

ii) Establish a Yearly Individual Testing Plan in accordance with the athlete’s status, his-her competition schedule, the risk assessment analysis conducted, recommendations from the Athletes Passport Management Unit (APMU) and any other intelligence;

iii) Issue mission orders and following-up on tests requests in accordance with yearly testing plan;

7. Whereabouts Officer : Ksh. 70,350 p.m

Duties and Responsibilities

                  i.   Maintain good level of engagement with athletes/representatives;

                ii. Assist with athletes’ whereabouts education/awareness;

              iii. Set-up Anti-Doping Administration Management System (ADAMS) access for whereabouts filing;

              

8. Intelligence & Investigations Officer : Ksh. 70,350 p.m

Duties and Responsibilities 

Duties and responsibilities will be to:- 

            i.  Assess and conduct preliminary reviews of potential breaches of the ADAK Anti-Doping Rules and Anti-Doping Act of Kenya;

          ii.   Ensure the quality of input of information into the relevant database systems

         iii.   Participate in team investigations and analysis projects;

9. Anti-Doping Education Officer : Ksh. 70,350 p.m

Duties and Responsibilities

 Duties and responsibilities will be to:-

                i.  Analyze and interpreting data on the active sports disciplines;

             ii. Prepare initial reports on the active sports disciplines;

           iii. Carry out Anti-Doping Education needs assessment;

10. Legal Officer : Ksh. 70,350 p.m

Duties and Responsibilities

 Duties and responsibilities will be to:-

i) Prepare and reviewing legal documents/instruments;

ii)  Prepare legal opinions and briefs;

iii) Draft legal documents, leases and contracts;

11. Human Capital & Administration Officer : Ksh. 70,350 p.m

 Duties and Responsibilities

 Duties and responsibilities will be to:-

i)  Prepare the payroll, process complement control/salary administration/pension administration, in accordance with laid down regulations;

ii)  Implement Human Capital Management Policies, Rules and Regulations;

iii) Update of the Human Capital employee database;

12. Principal Corporate Communications Officer : Ksh. 107,700 p.m

Duties and Responsibilities 

Duties and responsibilities will be to:- 

i) Develop comprehensive corporate communications programs;

ii)   Prepare programs budgets and ensuring implementation of the functions;

iii)  Prepare press materials for press release and publication;

13. Supply Chain Management Officer : Ksh. 70,350 p.m

Duties and Responsibilities

Duties and responsibilities will entail:-

i)   Prepare and issuing of standard tender documents;

ii)Participate in tender and quotation opening and evaluation;

iii)  Initiate documentation for payment of suppliers for the goods/services rendered;
