Pursuant to Article 235(1)(b) of the Constitution of Kenya 2010 and Section 59(1)(b) of the County Governments Act No. 17 of 2012; the County Public Service Board of Busia invites applications from suitable and qualified persons to fill vacant positions in the County Government on Permanent and Pensionable terms of service as follows:
Busia County Public Service Board is currently offering a wide range of job openings in the healthcare sector, providing an excellent opportunity for qualified professionals to make a meaningful impact in their community. With 15 positions available for Medical Officers, the county aims to strengthen its medical workforce to cater to the healthcare needs of its residents effectively. Additionally, there are 4 positions for Nursing Officer/Interns and 37 positions for Registered Nurses, indicating the importance the county places on enhancing its nursing services.
Public health is another crucial aspect, with 2 positions available for Public Health Officers and 5 positions for Assistant Public Health Officers. These individuals will play an integral role in implementing health programs and ensuring the well-being of the county’s population. Moreover, the county is seeking to boost its dental and clinical services, with positions for Dental Technologist Officers, Clinical Officers, and Registered Clinical Officers.
Busia County also recognizes the significance of specialized medical services, evidenced by the openings for Orthopedic Trauma Technologists, Medical Engineering Technologists, and Radiographers. These professionals will contribute to providing high-quality medical care and diagnostics. Furthermore, the county is committed to holistic health, offering positions for Nutrition and Dietetics Technologists, Assistant Occupational Therapists, and Assistant Physiotherapists.
In line with its focus on comprehensive healthcare, the county is also recruiting for positions such as Pharmaceutical Technologists, Medical Laboratory Technologists, and Health Records and Information Management Officers. These roles ensure proper medication management, laboratory diagnostics, and accurate health records to optimize patient care.
