The Kirinyaga County Public Service Board is pleased to invite applications from suitably qualified, motivated and Pro-active individuals to fill up the following vacant positions;
1. Veterinary Officer As a Veterinary Officer, you will be responsible for providing veterinary services to enhance the health and productivity of livestock. Your duties will include diagnosing and treating animal diseases, implementing animal health programs, conducting inspections, and advising farmers on best practices.
2. Engineer II (Mechanical) The Engineer II (Mechanical) will play a key role in planning, designing, and overseeing mechanical engineering projects. You will ensure that all mechanical systems and equipment are installed, maintained, and operated efficiently, contributing to the overall infrastructure development of the county.
3. Assistant Enforcement Officer As an Assistant Enforcement Officer, you will support the enforcement of county laws and regulations. Your responsibilities will include conducting inspections, issuing notices and fines, and ensuring compliance with various county policies to maintain order and safety within the community.
4. Accountant II The Accountant II will handle financial transactions, prepare financial reports, and maintain accurate records. You will ensure compliance with financial regulations and contribute to the effective management of county resources.
5. Public Communications & Information Officer II In this role, you will manage public communication activities, including media relations, public information dissemination, and social media engagement. You will play a crucial role in promoting the county’s initiatives and ensuring transparent communication with the public.
6. Chief Officer Roads Transport And Infrastructure Development As the Chief Officer, you will lead the planning, development, and maintenance of the county’s road and transport infrastructure. Your leadership will ensure the efficient and effective implementation of infrastructure projects, enhancing connectivity and mobility within the county.
7. Chief Officer, Administration, Special Programmes And Liaison The Chief Officer will oversee the administration and coordination of special programs and liaison activities. You will ensure the smooth operation of county services, manage special projects, and facilitate effective communication and collaboration between departments and stakeholders.
8. Chief Executive Officer – KIDA As the CEO of Kirinyaga Investment Development Authority (KIDA), you will drive the county’s investment agenda. Your strategic leadership will attract investment, promote economic development, and create opportunities for growth and prosperity in Kirinyaga County.
9. Director Revenue Mobilization And Management The Director will lead efforts to enhance revenue collection and management within the county. You will develop and implement strategies to maximize revenue streams, ensuring the county’s financial sustainability and ability to fund essential services.
10. Director Supply Chain Management Services In this role, you will oversee the procurement and supply chain management functions. You will ensure that goods and services are procured efficiently and transparently, supporting the county’s operations and service delivery.
11. Director Livestock, Veterinary And Fisheries As the Director, you will lead initiatives to promote livestock, veterinary, and fisheries development. You will implement programs to enhance animal health, productivity, and sustainable fisheries, contributing to the county’s agricultural sector.
12. Head Of Marketing – KIDA The Head of Marketing at KIDA will develop and execute marketing strategies to promote investment opportunities in Kirinyaga County. You will build strong relationships with investors, enhance the county’s image, and drive economic growth through targeted marketing campaigns.
