1. Senior Director of Academic Affairs (Job Code: SDAA/01/2024-25) – Nairobi
This strategic role is essential for ensuring the quality and integrity of academic operations at KSG. Reporting directly to the Director General, the Senior Director of Academic Affairs will guide KSG’s training programs, including admissions, curriculum development, quality assurance, certification, and library services. Responsibilities will include spearheading the development and implementation of academic policies and standards, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability, conducting training needs assessments, and overseeing outreach initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a Ph.D. and extensive experience in higher education or training institutions, along with strong leadership capabilities.
2. Senior Director of Finance and Administration (Job Code: SDFA/02/2024-25) – Nairobi
The Senior Director of Finance and Administration oversees the institution’s financial and administrative functions, contributing to effective resource management, policy implementation, and operational integrity. Reporting to the Director General, the position involves developing policies for prudent financial control, managing human resources, overseeing compliance with national regulations, and ensuring transparency and accountability in all financial transactions. The successful candidate will bring significant experience in finance and administration and possess relevant professional certifications, a Master’s degree, and ideally 15 years of cumulative experience, including time in a senior management role.
3. Director Positions (Job Code: D/03/2024-25) – Locations: Matuga, Mombasa, and Nairobi
The Director positions are open in three KSG campuses and involve providing leadership in the development and execution of training, research, and consultancy programs. Directors will be responsible for implementing approved curricula, preparing performance reports, and upholding quality management standards. Additional duties include overseeing campus financial management, staff development, and promoting the school’s visibility through corporate branding initiatives. A Bachelor’s degree is required, along with a Master’s degree in a relevant field, and a minimum of 15 years of experience in a senior role.
4. Director, eLearning Development Institute (Job Code: DelDi/04/2024-25) – Nairobi
In response to the increasing demand for digital education solutions, KSG has created the role of Director for the eLearning Development Institute. This position will be responsible for steering the digitization of KSG’s training programs and developing eLearning frameworks to meet the evolving needs of Kenya’s public service. Responsibilities include leading the development of digital content, implementing eLearning standards, managing the institute’s knowledge hub, and enhancing KSG’s digital presence across the region. Candidates should hold advanced degrees in information technology or related fields, along with substantial experience in eLearning or digital program development.
5. Deputy Director, eLearning Development Institute (Job Code: DD-elDi/05/2024-25) – Nairobi
Supporting the Director of the eLearning Development Institute, the Deputy Director will play a critical role in implementing eLearning strategies. Responsibilities include coordinating the delivery of digital training, admissions, examinations, and curriculum development. The role also involves conducting training needs assessments, promoting eLearning initiatives, and ensuring ISO certification compliance within the digital programs. Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree, a Master’s degree in IT or educational technology, 12 years of experience, and strong management skills.
6. Deputy Director, Hospitality Services (Job Code: DDHS/06/2024-25) – Nairobi
The Deputy Director of Hospitality Services ensures the seamless operation of KSG’s hospitality functions, covering accommodation, catering, and housekeeping services for KSG’s various campuses. Key responsibilities include developing hospitality policies, maintaining service quality standards, overseeing inventory and facility management, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. This position is ideal for candidates with 12 years of experience in hospitality management, a Bachelor’s degree in hotel and hospitality management, a Master’s degree, and relevant professional qualifications.
