A YouTuber has remade the second Grand Theft Auto 6 trailer with actual LEGO, as another went viral for using AI to do it.
At the start of May, Rockstar Games finally broke their silence on Grand Theft Auto 6. However, it wasn’t the news fans wanted as the game devs confirmed that GTA 6 would be delayed until May 26, 2026. As per Rockstar’s announcement, they need “extra time to deliver at the level of quality you expect and deserve.”
Yet, it hasn’t been all bad news. In the wake of the delay announcement, the Grand Theft Auto devs released the long-awaited second trailer, close to 100 screenshots of the new game, and details about several key characters – including Jason and Lucia.
Players have pored over the fresh details, scanning the trailer for any hints Rockstar may have left. It has also seen some of them remake the trailer with AI, and even rebuild Jason’s house in other games.
GTA 6 trailer 2 in LEGO goes viral
However, YouTuber legome_theog has taken things up another level, remaking the second trailer with actual LEGO.
The video was posted on June 5, with the YouTuber responding to a previous fan remake that used AI. “Yeah anyway I recreated the entire GTA 6 trailer in LEGO …for REAL!!” they posted on X (formerly Twitter).
According to the YouTuber, it took them “just under a month” to put it all together. “Just under a month- and yeah rendering was the worst, especially in 4k,” they told one viewer.
They noted that they “made the base model” of the environments and “procedurally generated” some of the more nature-focused ones.
The video has racked up over 2 million views on X alone since it was posted, with a further 16,000 views on YouTube. It may not topple the official trailer’s figures anytime soon, but it is incredibly cool.
