A Tiktok journalist alleges that Blackhawk broke up with Corey Perry after the latter slept with Connor Bedard’s mother while the team was visiting Florida.

According to a TikTok post, Corey Perry had sex with Connor Bedard’s mother at a hotel when the mother was traveling.

In the hockey world and in Chicago, where he has rightfully been hailed as the city’s sports savior, Connor Bedard is the talk of the town. That is, unless Jed Hoyer and the Chicago Cubs decide to pay Shohei Ohtani more than half a billion dollars (you have to speak these things into reality). Manifest: See it through to completion.

The Bulls are a disaster, the Bears are still rebuilding (fire Eberflus), the White Sox are as unserious as a professional sports organization can possible be…. it’s bad in Chicago right now. However, about 20 games into the season, and despite being surrounded by a miserable cast of inexperienced players, overpaid Seth Jones, and now the competent veterans like Taylor Hall (ACL injury) and Corey Perry gone, Bedard has proven to be the golden boy that we all thought he was.

He’s leading all rookies in points, has handled the media circus with poise and maturity, and being just a few months over 18 years old, he skates and shoots with the confidence of someone who has been in the league for a minute. And on top of all of that, Corey Perry f*cked his mom…

Ok, ok… that’s just a joke. Calm down.

In response to inquiries about Perry’s status, Blackhawks head coach Luke Richardson maintained a tight-lipped approach, stating via Charlie Roumeliotis:

“I just wanted to start by saying I know you have questions about Corey Perry not playing last night and attending practice today, but we’re going to keep that internal in the organization right now.”

Offering some insight, Blackhawks alternate captain Nick Foligno emphasized the need for professionalism amid uncertainty, saying via The Athletic:

“We’ve got a lot of young guys, so it’s kind of a shock at first. But it’s being a pro. We talk about it, and this is an opportunity to do that. It’s the outside noise that you have to push away, whether it’s this or anything else that’s going on in your life.”
