In just 12 hours, the GTA 6 teaser released by Rockstar Games received 1.3 million likes and 123 million views on Twitter.
The post’s opening statement said that Rockstar’s 25th anniversary would be celebrated the following month, which suggests the GTA 6 trailer would release on the same day. That being said, the studio was only revealed on January 22 of the following year, hence the only available date for its foundation is the nebulous “December 1998” window.
However, December 7th is the day of the Game Awards, so that presents another possibility for the trailer’s release. Rockstar has not declared that it would be present at the awards show, but given it’s usually packed with new trailers and announcements from the biggest developers, GTA 6’s appearance wouldn’t be out of place.

However, his statement was made in the said period, and to date, the game’s development has likely crossed the mark.

However, based on the previous instances and market competition, Rockstar Games may not charge more than the standard amount for GTA 6. Many recent AAA titles, such as God of War Ragnarök, Hogwarts Legacy, Elden Ring, etc., cost around $60 to $70.
This led many fans to believe that the American gaming studio would charge $150 per copy for Grand Theft Auto 6. Most of them argue that since Rockstar Games is spending a significant amount of money on development and also has a high sales target, it will make the game costlier to retrieve the expenses.
