Cristiano Ronaldo used his hands as he asked for the referee to be changed during Al-Nassr vs Al-Ettifaq football match [VIDEO]

Using his hands, Cristiano Ronaldo requested a new referee during today’s football match between Al-Nassr and Al-Ettifaq.

In response to an accusation that he does not understand what an offside is, Cristiano Ronaldo rolled his fingers, signaling that he should be replaced as referee.

Cristiano Ronaldo will play against some well-known opponents when Al Nassr hosts Al Ettifaq in the King’s Cup semifinals.

The five-time Ballon d’Or winner was rested for the 5-1 win over Ohod in the previous round but is set to return against opponents coached by Steven Gerrard and skippered by another former Liverpool captain, Jordan Henderson.

Al Ettifaq beat Jeddah 4-0 in their opening cup clash but this is a notable step up and a run of one win in their previous four games suggests Gerrard’s men will have their work cut out against Al Nassr.

A 5-1 win helped Al Nassr make it to the Round of 16 where they now meet Steven Gerrard’s Al Ettifaq.

Al Ettifaq are sitting in the seventh position and five points below Al Nassr in the league. But they should have a bit of confidence after defeating the Knights of Najd 2-1 in their 2023-24 Saudi Pro League opener. In the Round of 32 clash with Division 1 outfit Jeddah Club, Georginio Wijnaldum started with the opening goal as his teammates added 3 more to the scoreline without conceding.
