Police arrested a woman for drug trafficking at her home, marking her fifth arrest for similar offences. Officers confiscated a large quantity of methamphetamine and crystal methamphetamine from her residence in Lat Krabang, Bangkok.

The arrest occurred today following orders from Police Colonel Somphot Thongmoon, Superintendent of Romklao Police Station, and Police Lieutenant Colonel Kornwarat Promsawan, Acting Deputy Superintendent of Investigation. Police Lieutenant Colonel Boonnarung Klaisong and the investigative team executed the operation, leading to the apprehension of 49 year old Nonglak along with 2,045 methamphetamine tablets and 161.03 grammes of crystal methamphetamine.

Police had been monitoring Nonglak’s activities for some time, suspecting her involvement in significant drug trafficking within the Romklao jurisdiction. A tip-off from an informant indicated that Nonglak would store drugs at her home, prompting the police to search.

Officers observed Nonglak descending from the second floor of her house, holding something in her right hand. Her suspicious behaviour and attempt to flee upon seeing the police led to her immediate arrest.

A thorough search of her home uncovered crystal methamphetamine in her possession. Additionally, officers found methamphetamine tablets hidden in a black leather shoulder bag on the second floor, along with a digital scale. All items were seized as evidence.

Nonglak claimed that the methamphetamine and crystal methamphetamine were supplied by a man named Muet, who resides in Samut Prakan province. She admitted to having been previously arrested on four occasions for drug-related offences. With no other occupation, she had turned to drug trafficking as her primary means of livelihood, reported KhaoSod.
