The famous secular artist Willy Paul, has made a claim on tweeter that Kenyans are worried over his silence. He claims that they had been crowding into his social media inbox requesting him to release a new song. He went further to say that without his presence, the secular music industry in Kenya is in a worrying state. He has assured his fan for a comeback soon.
“Giving you new music in a few days. I’m glad now everyone knows that without Pozze, the Kenyan industry is as good as dead. To all of you that kept sending me messages asking for new music, say no more,” he posted on tweeter.
He went further to apologize to Kenyans for going so low in releasing of his hit songs compared to other artists like Sauti Sol. He said that he was revealing a true picture of the industry without his presence. “I’m sorry fam, I know I’ve disappointed most of you by not releasing any new music. I did that on purpose. To show all of you how the industry is down without my input. Some will differ with me but the majority will take my side,” he added.
Willy Paul released songs like Chocolate, Tamu Walahi, before diming. His posts attracted a mix of reactions from Kenyans on tweeter, here is the screenshot:
