Will had previously warned the council about the 'dead trees', saying that 'it could have killed someone!'

He explained: 'I just came out of the house because of the wind and I looked at the trees. I was setting up my decorations outside and look, this just happened.”

Will added: “The tree has been completely ripped out of the ground. I have been telling the community about these trees for years because they are dead. I knew something was going to happen. It could have killed someone. Look at that!'

He then warned his followers, “Do not go out.”

Londoners were urged to stay indoors today as the Met Office issued an urgent orange warning for Storm Henk, which was dramatically named by meteorologists just an hour before it hit at 10am on Tuesday.

Forecasters predicted it would bring 'very wild outdoor conditions' until 8pm, with Mayor Sadiq Khan warning of a 'potential risk to life and property' in London.

It comes after Will opened up about how his family home was targeted for identity theft during a money laundering scandal in 2022.

Will shares his home with his wife Michelle McSween, whom he married in 2007, and their two children, Jayden, 19, and Renee, 15.

The actor told MailOnline about the 'terrifying' moment he caught a fraudster who had siphoned off tens of thousands of dollars through bank accounts under his name by hijacking his mailbox.

He revealed that he had seen a man hanging around his house that he did not recognize.

Will didn't think much of it until his neighbor told him that they had seen the man a few times and caught them with their hand in his mailbox.

Curious as to what he was doing, Will asked his mailman if he had seen him. His courier revealed that he then pointed to his car, which turned onto his street.

Will walked to the car, but before confronting the man, he sped off onto a side street.

He said: 'I took a picture of his license plate and then I have a CCTV, all over my house, but at the front I have a CCTV on my gate, and I went to check the CCTV footage and turned it back to the The last time the police were there.

“And I literally got him on camera, with his hands in my mailbox, taking out the mail, going through it, and walking away with it in the middle of the day in broad daylight, like the mailman came. I alerted the police.

'But then I discovered he was intercepting the mail.

“So before I saw it, he was going to get it because he, or his gang or whoever it was, had opened several bank accounts in my name.

'Of course, with my address on it, and there was £20,000 in one, £10,000 in the other, and obviously money had been laundered, but if anything had happened it would have come back to me.

“And of course, if it was the credit score, my credit score would be gone. And so it was bad, very bad.

'And it took him months to get all that money.

“So I looked at the police and I had to try to close these accounts, which was very difficult.”

Will, who works with Shred-it, explained that there are still open accounts containing the fraudster's money and claims he cannot close them.

He said the banks had made it incredibly difficult for him to stop the money laundering and that he wished it was harder for people to open accounts as more than £50,000 was transferred into his name.

The Strictly star said: 'What if my kids caught him? That is the point.

'It's scary that they come to my house. They didn't care who was watching because it was broad daylight.

'You talk at one o'clock in the afternoon when the postman comes.

“And the postman was absolutely furious, because he was clearly following the postman.

'I don't know if I'm the only one. There may be several, so that he knows exactly what time the postman will arrive. He follows him everywhere. When the postman leaves, he sits in the mailbox and has taken out all the information he doesn't want me to know.

“So all bank statements that have been sent.”

Will said he hasn't seen the suspected crook since he tried to confront him, but he said the experience has changed him because he is now more careful about where he keeps his mail.

Will now helps encourage businesses to send all their unwanted confidential papers to Shred-it so that personal information is securely destroyed.
