Waithaka wa Jane was born in 1998 in Mathioya in Murang’a County. He is a last born in a family of eight two sisters and six brothers. He joined the music industry in 2016, playing drum sets and guitar for veteran musician Mr Pato Wa Gathoni. He made a commitment to learn the craft first before going solo.
Some hours ago he was live on YouTube where he talked about his personal life. According to him he started singing when he was a young boy but nobody knew he had music talent. He was a great fan of the late Salim junior and he wanted to sing like him one day. He said that that he never understood education and life in school was very hard.
When he reached form three he realized that education was not his strength where he dropped out and moved to Nairobi to live with his brother who was already singing. He started with learning drum set and later he learnt guitar.
