Honkai: Star Rail is getting its next major update. Version 2.0 will take us there Penaconia, a dreamy art deco themed area surrounding a special hotel. The update brings new characters and lots of new things to do.
While we’re used to new patches releasing on Tuesday evenings/Wednesday mornings (depending on where you live), version 2.0 actually launches on Monday evenings/Tuesday mornings, which is different from the norm.

What time is Honkai: Star Rail offline for maintenance?
Honkai: Star Rail goes offline for maintenance February 5 or 6 (depending on your time zone) at the following times and will be unavailable for approximately five hours:
- February 5 at 2pm PST off the west coast of North America
- February 5 at 5pm EST off the east coast of North America
- February 5 at 10pm GMT for Great Britain
- February 5 at 11:00 PM CET for Western Europe/Paris
- February 6 at 7am JST for Japan/Tokyo
- February 6 at 9am AEDT for Australia/Sydney

What time will Honkai: Star Rail version 2.0 be released?
Honkai: Star Rail must return from maintenance with version 2.0 at the following times:
- February 5 at 7pm PST off the west coast of North America
- February 5 at 10pm EST off the east coast of North America
- February 6 at 3am GMT for Great Britain
- February 6 at 4 am CET for Western Europe/Paris
- February 6 at 12:00 JST for Japan/Tokyo
- February 6 at 2pm AEDT for Australia/Sydney
The servers may become available sooner or later depending on how maintenance goes, but these are approximately when 2.0 should go live. Normally Hooverse is quite good at adhering to maintenance times. Normally we don’t get extensive maintenance, but sometimes it ends prematurely!
