Adriana Lima left fans stunned earlier this week when she stepped out at the new Hunger Games premiere with a drastically new look – and now several plastic surgeons have given some insight into the procedures that would leave her ‘unrecognizable’ look could have caused.
The 42-year-old model was forced to defend herself against accusations that she had undergone cosmetic surgery, insisting that her drastic new look was simply a result of her being a ‘tired mother’.
Social media users panicked after she walked the red carpet for The Ballad Of Songbirds and Snakes in Los Angeles on Tuesday, with one person commenting on Instagram: ‘She’s done something to her face, Botox, fillers, she’s not the same .’
After intense research, the Victoria’s Secret Angel shared a bare-faced selfie via Instagram Stories, writing, “This is the face of a tired mother of a teenage girl, two young teens, an active boy, a 1-year-old learning to walk, and three dogs…thank you for your concern.”
But her protests did little to quell the rumors and now three plastic surgeons are offering their expert opinions to DailyMail.com on what could have prompted her sudden makeover.

Plastic surgeon from New York Dr. Jennifer Levine suggested a number of procedures that could have led to Adriana’s ‘puffy’ appearance, including fillers and a surgical brow lift – although she noted that the so-called swelling could also be caused by medications or health conditions.
“It appears that her face is swollen especially around the eyes and mouth, as her eyes appear smaller, the forehead is unnaturally arched and her smile appears less sincere,” she explained.

Beverly Hills, California-based aesthetic physician Dr. Rahi Sarbaziha also thinks Adriana may have had PDO threads, a procedure that uses dissolvable sutures to lift the skin, before opting for another surgery.
‘IIt appears she had eyebrow surgery to create her sharp, angular eyebrows,” said Dr. Rahi.

Dr. Ostad explained that a fox eye lift involved lifting the outer edge of the eyebrow to “mimic a facelift and upper eyelid surgery.”
“The combination of these procedures could give her appearance a lifting effect,” the cosmetic surgeon said.

Not everyone agreed, says the New York City-based plastic surgeon Dr. Barry M. Weintraub believed the changes were due to “extreme makeup.”
