A worker died after becoming trapped under machinery at a workplace in Western Australia’s Goldfields region on Monday afternoon.
WA Police and WorkSafe are investigating the incident, which occurred on Monday afternoon at ATS Mining Maintenance in South Boulder, about 600km east of Perth.
The factory specializes in “repairs and reconstructions of mining machinery, components and drilling rigs,” according to its website.
