Kenyan socialite Vera Sidika has confirmed her relationship status month after hinting at a budding romance following her viral divorce from singer Brown Mauzo.
Taking to her Instagram page, the mother of two said she unapologetically wears a sexy lingerie to bed despite being single.
“Single as a dollar bill but still rocking my sexy lingerie to bed,” Vera cheekily declared.
Vera wants Gen Z
Her statement comes after months of expressing her desire to date Generation Z men.
The socialite, known for her enviable lifestyle shared her curiosity about the young generation’s romantic prowess.
“Is it true Gen Zs know how to deliver? I’m single, by the way,” she stated.
Later, The Real Housewives of Nairobi star revealed that her Instagram inbox was practically on fire, flooded with messages from Gen Z admirers eager to sweep her off her feet. She admitted she was overwhelmed by the sheer number of suitors.
“My DM is insane! How does someone pick just one from thousands of messages?” she said, adding that she had to take a two-day breather to recover from the digital chaos.
In June 2024, she had many guessing when she hinted at a mystery man during a trip to Lagos, Nigeria. Although she did not name names, she let fans know she was in good company.
“Whenever I travel and go MIA on socials, it means I’m busy with bae,” she teased at the time. One fan even wished blessings upon her Nigerian suitor, to which Vera responded with a gracious, “Amen.”
Divorce party
The reality TV star ended her relationship with Mauzo nine months ago, after nearly three years of marriage.
The ‘Real Housewives of Nairobi‘ (RHON) star shared her excitement about finalizing the divorce on social media.
In a video, Vera wore a vibrant feathered carnival outfit paired with a sheer black bodysuit and a pink set. She expressed her newfound freedom in the caption, stating, “Ready for my divorce party!!! I feel free like a bird.”
The mother of two declared she no longer believes in marriage, calling it a scam. She shared footage from the night, showing her and her friends celebrating at an exotic nightclub. She promised fans that the full coverage of the night would be featured on RHON, noting that a divorce party is better than therapy.
Vera and Brown Mauzo married in October 2020.
While Vera asserted they were legally married, they had yet to have a formal ceremony. The couple shares two children; a 2-year-old daughter named Asia Brown and an 11-month-old son named Prince Ice Brown.
