Former President Donald Trump mocked President Joe Biden for using the “kid steps” to board Air Force One and posted photos of him napping on the beach during a Monday afternoon rally in New Hampshire.
Trump visited the Granite State on Monday to make his candidacy official. He visited the New Hampshire statehouse in Concord to register his name on the 2024 Republican ballot for the nation’s first primary.
He then spent about 100 minutes speaking to supporters in nearby Derry, where he happily rallied around Biden.
“Crooked Joe can’t even walk up the kiddie stairs on Air Force One,” Trump said, laughing.
After several tripping incidents, the 80-year-old commander-in-chief used the shorter stairs to board Air Force One and deplane.

Trump noticed this and told his audience on Monday that they would probably like to see someone walk out of Air Force One ‘nice and high… wave to everyone.’
“These guys are going to the little stairs. We call them the children’s stairs. And now he’s made a habit of it because he can’t quite figure it out,” Trump said. ‘He has more time to make it up. Usually it’s easier,” the 77-year-old former president noted.
Axios reported this in September that Biden was working with a physical therapist and wearing more sneakers in an effort not to stumble.
Earlier Monday on Truth Social, Trump had shared an Instagram post from the rapper 50 Cent who posted a DailyMail.com story previewing Biden’s Rehoboth trip with the comment, “Hey Joe, come on, we’re in trouble, man.”
The photo used in the story is a photo of the president sleeping on the beach in August with first lady Jill Biden reading a book.
The president and first lady returned to the White House from Rehoboth in the hours leading up to Trump’s campaign event, making Biden’s beach routes ripe fodder for the ex-president.
“You know he goes to the beach a lot, right?” Trump said during part of his speech. “If he had gone to the beach and done nothing, we would have the best border,” the ex-president claimed.

The ex-president also brought up Biden’s speech from last September, in which the president spoke in front of Philadelphia’s Independence Hall, lit in red, and warned the country about Trump and his MAGA Republicans.
“I looked at Biden with that, remember the one with the red background? It looked like the devil,” Trump recalled. “The same set designer who makes the same set of him on the beach,” the ex-president joked.
“Someone thinks he looks good on the beach,” Trump continued. ‘I do not think so.’
“You know those chairs are meant for a child to pick them up,” the former president added.
Despite Trump’s many trips to Mar-a-Lago and Bedminster to play golf during his four years as president, the ex-president characterized Biden’s beach trip as a dereliction of duty.
‘You see this man walking around. And then he sleeps on the beach all day. And there may be World War III going on,” Trump said. ‘It’s terrible. It’s horrible to see, it’s horrible to see.’
“But he gave that speech with that horrible red background and that background might have been worse than the beach,” Trump said, returning to last year’s speech. “And he talks about MAGA, MAGA, MAGA,” Trump said.
Biden was not photographed sleeping on the beach during this weekend’s trip to Rehoboth.
He was pictured walking along the beach with his wife, going to church and going to a restaurant.
