Ombija disclosed that he is currently married and the father of a three-month-old boy in an interview with Nairobi news.The 36-year-old journalist, who was reflecting on his history, was thankful for being given a second chance at love and highlighted that he no longer wanted to be single.
Trevor Ombija also shared the reason why he chose to name his newborn son after him during an interview with local media.
“The future is still bright for me, and whatever I achieve, I want it to be his baseline of what he can achieve in the future. We are starting at the non-reducible minimum, and that is why I named him after myself,” he stated.
Two years ago, Speaking during an interview with Mpasho, the Monday Report host revealed he was dumped by the love of his life notwithstanding that he had paid a dowry to formalise their relationship.
He said he was seriously heartbroken by the situation; a reason why was still single for long.
Trevor admitted that even though their 10-year-old relationship had ups and downs, he couldn’t have wished for a breakup with his ex-girlfriend whom she loved the most.
Expectedly, Trevor tried to salvage the relationship but the efforts didn’t bear fruits.
