Trevor Noah has declared that the Grammy Awards were ‘not on Jeffrey Epstein’s list’ for everyone – after a comedian presenting an award said he was surprised he was asked to attend because he was not a pedophile.
Noah tried to defend his audience after Jim Gaffigan said, “This is so exciting to me,” while presenting an award. The Golden Globes – I can’t even believe I’m in the entertainment industry. I can not do it.
“You know, it’s so unlikely. I’m from a small town in Indiana. I’m not a pedophile. I don’t know if that’s a new category here, but…’
Gaffigan appeared to be referring to the fact that so many Hollywood people were named in court documents released over several days in early January in connection with the late pedophile financier Jeffrey Epstein.
Noah later said the prizes were for those “not on the Epstein list.”
Previously, the host joked about conspiracy theories suggesting Taylor Swift is being forced to date an NFL player in an effort to get more NFL supporters to follow her and vote for Joe Biden.
He laughed at the bizarre story as Swift, 34, entered the ceremony late.
As she walked past him, accompanied by her longtime collaborator Jack Antonoff, Noah referenced the enormous impact her Eras tour had on countries around the world.
“As Taylor Swift moves around the room, the local economy around those tables improves,” he joked.
He continued with a joke about NFL fans who were reportedly annoyed by the number of times her face appeared on the screen during boyfriend Travis Kelce’s games: “Every time someone says Taylor Swift, I switch to NFL,” said Noah.
Noah then turned to former NFL player turned actor Terry Crews and mocked the idea of Swift’s romance being set up by the government.

This week it was reported that Donald Trump told aides that it doesn’t matter whether Swift supports Joe Biden — because he’s “more popular” than them anyway.
The 77-year-old commented on reports that the pop megastar was preparing to endorse Biden, and that Biden’s campaign was desperate for her to appear on stage with the president at a rally. Swift endorsed Biden in 2020.
He is said to believe even the pop megastar won’t be able to rob him of a victory in November, despite Dems hoping Swift could dramatically sway the vote.
The New York Times reported Monday that Swift is a key name on Biden aides’ “wish lists of potential surrogates.”
Trump too, according to Rolling stonesaid it was wrong for Swift to be named Time magazine’s Person of the Year in December 2023 because the award “clearly” should have gone to him.
Swift’s political influence is sought after by all parties, but for years she remained openly neutral.

She was born in Pennsylvania, but moved to Nashville as a young girl to pursue music. Initially, she was loathe to say anything that would alienate her traditionally Republican country music fan base.
But in 2018, she spoke out against Republican Sen. Marsha Blackburn, saying her voting record “dismays and frightens me.”
Trump – who called her “fantastic” and “amazing” in 2012 – was angered by Swift’s comments.
“You know, Marsha Blackburn is doing very well in Tennessee, she’s leading substantially now,” Trump said. ‘She’s a wonderful woman.
“I’m sure Taylor Swift doesn’t know anything about her. And let’s just say I like Taylor’s music about 25 percent less now.”

Swift subsequently endorsed Biden, and last year a single Instagram post of hers led to 35,000 new voter registrations.
A poll this month from Redfield & Wilton Strategies found that 18 percent of voters said they were “more likely” or “significantly more likely” to vote for a candidate supported by Swift.
A source close to Trump told Rolling Stone that MAGA insiders were preparing to launch a “holy war” against the 34-year-old.
The prospect of Swift endorsing Biden again has conservative commentators confused: Chris Cillizza, a political commentator for CNN until 2022, posted a video of Fox News hosts expressing anger and concern about the idea, writing: “They are really scared of Taylor Swift, aren’t you?’
In the clip, Judge Jeanine told Swift to stay out of politics, saying, “We don’t want to see you there.”
Tomi Lahren implored her to “stick to the music,” while Maria Bartiromo asked what her positions were on foreign or economic policy. One guest says Swift is “basically Biden’s vice president.”
Still, Trump campaign senior adviser Jason Miller downplayed the importance of a Swift endorsement.
“Joe Biden may be counting on Taylor Swift to save him, but voters look at these sky-high inflation numbers and say, ‘We’ll never get back together,’” Miller said.
