‘Too posh for certain jobs but you can beg?’ – Zari Hassan scolds fans seeking handouts

Ugandan businesswoman Zari Hassan has scolded a section of her fans seeking financial support from her on social media.

In a lengthy video, the mother of five claimed that aggressive fans have been camping on her Instagram much to her surprise since according to her the ‘handouts culture’ is not sustainable.

“To the people who are always in my inbox seeking money for food and rent, my issue with you is what will happen tomorrow. Next month you will still need rent. Some of you are even too aggressive and some even issue threats dragging God’s name in their arguments,” Zari stated saying she too works.

Further, the socialite challenged fans to rather work look for employment even casual jobs for their welfare.

“Some people are too posh for some jobs. You can’t arrange groceries, serve tea or even wash cars? You are too posh for certain jobs but you can beg? Making your problems our problems,” Zari Hassan stated.

Zari’s message echoes the previous disclaimer by Kerocher heiress Anerlisa Muigai who noted that she barely checks her direct messages(DMs) since according to her, most neizens are seeking handouts.

“I know most of you ask me why I hardly reply to your inboxes and truth be told I hardly go through them and if I happen to go through them, 90% of them are about a job opening and the 9% about being given money and 1% are those who genuinely wish me all the best,’’ Anerlisa said.

Adding;

‘’It is impossible to employ everyone, I also cannot employ anyone as I do not have the right qualifications as the Human resource HR does. About also giving out money, I would advise anyone borrowing money to visit those money lending companies or even the bank. * If there are any job openings I will announce them. For now, I pray that all those jobless people will get jobs quickly. Have a successful week.”
