Tom Brady has shown his support for Michigan with a wristband dedicated to his former university ahead of their crucial playoff semi-final against Alabama on Monday.
The Wolverines will battle the Crimson Tide in the prestigious Rose Bowl for a spot in this season’s playoff finals, with head coach Jim Harbaugh looking to end their 27-year wait for a national championship.
And as his old school gets ready for the big game on New Year’s Day, Brady has chosen to wear a ‘Michigan vs Everybody’ wristband in support of Harbaugh’s team.
Along with a photo of the wristband next to his $2 million Richard Mille watch, the NFL legend wrote, “LOCK IN!”
Widely considered the greatest quarterback in football history, Brady spent his formative years at Michigan and was part of their last championship team in 1997.

Two years later, he was selected 199th overall in the 1999 NFL draft by the New England Patriots, before becoming the biggest draft steal of all time.
In addition to setting a host of individual records, Brady captured six Super Bowl titles during his iconic stint with the Patriots and later added a seventh to his collection with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Ahead of their Rose Bowl performance, the 46-year-old also sent a rallying cry to Michigan’s stars in a video shared on the university’s official X account.
“How are Michigan alumni doing? Tom Brady here,” he said. “I just wanted to give a shoutout to all of you and all the Wolverines fans in Los Angeles before the game. I think we all have an incredibly special feeling about what this team is and what they really stand for.
“I’m proud of everything they’ve accomplished, especially beating the Buckeyes, but I know they’re not done yet. And I remember on New Year’s Day in 2000, we had a huge win against the ‘Bama team in South Florida.
“And I know these guys can do it again. So be loud in the Rose Bowl! Make it feel like they’re playing in Ann Arbor. We have this. Big victory coming. Go blue!’
