Dean, 33, his wife Tegan, 32, and his brother Jaryd, 31, came up with the idea for their brand Nakie after a diving expedition in Southeast Asia.

They returned to shore and instead of being excited about the marine life, they couldn’t stop talking about the worrying amount of plastic floating past them.

“There were turtles, sharks, manta rays, you name it,” Dean told FEMAIL. “But all we could talk about was the straws and trash everywhere,”
