Earlier this month, Netflix released an action-packed trailer for the highly-anticipated third season of The Witcher.

The series – recently renewed for a fifth season – will release volume one of season three on June 29, with volume two streaming on July 27.

This season marks the Superman star’s final outing as the beast hunter before Liam Hemsworth takes over the lead role for season four.

The beloved series follows the journey of a mutated monster and witch hunter as he travels across mythical lands to slay supernatural beasts.

Geralt is one of the few remaining Witchers on the continent, and he struggles to find his way in the wicked world as others often misunderstand him.

In season three, as monarchs, mages, and beasts of the Continent compete to capture her, Geralt takes Ciri into hiding, determined to protect his newly-reunited family against those threatening to destroy it.

Entrusted with Ciri’s magical training, Yennefer leads them to the protected fortress of Aretuza, where they hope to uncover more about the girl’s untapped powers.
