The Voice Australia set for a major shake-up in 2024: Channel Seven begins ‘recruiting new crew of coaches’ – so who is returning?

Three judges have dropped the red seats of The Voice Australia this year, as Channel Seven hunts for new superstars to fill their places.

Guy Sebastian is the last man standing as Jessica Mauboy and Jason Derulo both head out on tour, while Rita Ora hosts The Masked Singer America.

Filming for the singing competition will begin in March, during which neither Jason nor Rita will be in the country, it was reported The Daily Telegraph on Tuesday.

Rita, 33, will be in the US during production, while Jason, 34, will be in Europe for his tour from March to June.

Meanwhile, Jessica, 34, remains in Australia to begin her Yours Forever Tour in March, when production for The Voice begins, and won’t end until May.

There are a few potential music sensations lined up to take their turn in the Network Seven series, including Adam Lambert who will be in the country during filming.

The American singer and actor LeAnn Rimes is also on the list, who is best known for her hit Can’t Fight the Moonlight from the film Coyote Ugly.

Kate Miller-Heidke is also rumored to be replacing Jessica, although neither of those names have been confirmed yet.

It comes after the vocal powerhouse, who got his start on Australian Idol in 2003, teamed up with his former co-star Shannon Noll to perform one of his iconic hits.

The dynamic duo took the stage together at Guy’s concert at the Sydney Opera House last month for a surprise duet.

The singers sang What About Me – the Moving Pictures hit that Shannon released as a very successful cover in 2004.

There was a roar from the crowd as Shannon walked on stage and sang the song with Guy.

Several fans posted their videos of the moment on online socials, calling it ‘iconic’ and saying the pair are ‘Australian legends’.
