The most expensive mansion in The Bronx lists for a record $7M

The most expensive mansion in The Bronx has hit the market asking a cool $7 million, The Post has learned.

If it sells for that sum, according to StreetEasy tallies, it would mark the most expensive home to sell in the borough.

Located at 5020 Grosvenor Ave. in Fieldston, StreetEasy also shows that if it sells for that exact price, it would crush the record set in 2017 for the $6.25 million deal for 5200 Longview Place — also in affluent Fieldston.

(The property at 5200 Longview, for its part, also came with a bizarre history. Built in 1928 by Genevieve Ludlow Griscom — of the cult, the Outer Court of the Order of the Living Christ — it was perched on the city’s second-highest peak so that Jesus Christ could reside there during the second coming. Subsequently, it spent nearly a decade on and off the market, and asked as much as $15 million for sale.)

Meanwhile, this newly listed home was newly built in 2012 and remained under the same owners since.

Occupying 10,100 square feet, the offering has seven bedrooms and eight bathrooms.

It’s described as a “neo-Georgian masterpiece reminiscent of the grand estate homes that graced the early decades of the twentieth century.”

Features include a two-story colonnaded entry hall paying homage to Michelangelo’s iconic Laurentian Library stair.
