Last year it was Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and the ‘Spirit of Ukraine’ who topped the rankings, after dominating headlines since the Russian invasion.
Over the past 96 years, the tradition has seen a number of controversial figures, including Adolf Hitler, Joseph Stalin and Ayatollah Khomeini.
