Taylor Swift fans are warning those heading to the star’s final Eras show in Sydney on Monday night to be aware of one ‘intense’ detail about the venue.

A Swiftie said she ‘almost fainted’ when she stood in the long queue to get from Accor Stadium to the train and there was no place to sit.

After the show, tens of thousands of concertgoers must walk slowly into Sydney Olympic Park train station and then board a crowded train – with some reporting the queue can last as long as 90 minutes.

‘Please note that the queue to get back on the train is very intense. I almost fainted. It’s like being in the middle of thousands of people,” one woman wrote on Facebook.

“Keep this in mind because I would have waited if I knew this.” I had to ask to go through the barrier and sit down because I wanted to fall down.’

The warning prompted other ticket holders to agree with one who called the chaos “terrible.”

’90 minutes to get to the train and we only got there in time as the trains stopped at 12.40. I hope they are better organized tomorrow night! We were back at our city accommodation at 1.15 am!’ one fan replied.

‘I support this, it was terrible. We ended up on a train, but got off at Redfern and took an Uber. My daughter was about to faint,” said one mother.

‘It was awful, I would recommend if you don’t want to be pushed around like a sardine, find a seat and wait. The amount of people rushing past trying to get through was rough,” a third wrote.

Some were grateful for the advice, especially those who have difficulty standing on their feet for long periods of time.

‘Thank you, this is very useful to know. I’m pregnant and wondering if there are any accessibility options. “I was planning to take the train back to Central Station and then another train back to the accommodation in St. Leonard’s,” one woman replied.

‘Thank you for passing on this information. I have a daughter with a medical condition arriving on Monday and noticed my niece took a very long time to get on the train last night,” another commented.

Others told how they avoided the queues after the concert, with one mother saying she and her children left during the last few songs.

‘We listened/danced to Karma and watched the fireworks from outside. Not as good as being in there, but I predicted what the trains would be like and didn’t want to take the risk,” she said.

“We highly recommend taking one of the large event buses instead if you have a choice between the train or the large event bus,” a second suggested.

But not everyone had a problem with someone being home an hour after the concert had ended.

‘I thought it was fantastic. Exactly an hour later we finished the concert and were back in our hotel room at City Hall,” she said.

‘I actually thought they handled the crowds well. We waited about 30 minutes. Remember that there was also a sold out show at Qudos. The only way to avoid the huge queues is to leave the show a few songs early,” another agreed.

“As long as you leave as soon as Karma ends, it’s not that bad!” We were able to catch the second train and were back at our accommodation within an hour of departure,” someone chimed in.
