Taylor Swift delights fans in Sydney with TWO unexpected mashups after changing her ‘surprise song’ rule on Eras Tour following a whirlwind two-day visit from boyfriend Travis Kelce

Taylor Swift continues to surprise her fans, and Saturday’s show in Sydney, Australia was no exception.

After telling the Accor Stadium crowd that they were her dream audience, the 34-year-old superstar revealed a big decision she made about the ‘surprise song’ choices.

The Grammy winner began at the beginning of the Eras tour by performing two acoustic songs that are not on her list of 44 songs she includes in each concert.

Her goal was not to repeat any song during the tour, but the Hero artist explained to the people Down Under that it no longer felt right.

“That was to challenge me to really achieve all the things that I’m not naturally drawn to, and I’m very proud that I did that,” American weekly reported.

“But this is kind of a public service announcement for anyone who’s on tour somewhere else, or whatever, or watching this – we’ve got a lot of people, we’re fortunate enough to have a lot of people watching this on the radio. internet and care about these shows when they’re not there,” she said.

“I’ve just been thinking about it a little bit, and I’ve been thinking that I want to be as creative as possible with the acoustic set moving forward and I don’t want to limit anything or say, ‘If I played this song, I couldn’t do it again play.”

Now, the Cruel Summer artist wants to use her creativity to make certain changes to repeated songs.

Swift explained that she wants to play surprise songs “more than once if I feel like it” and be able to make “changes” to certain tunes.

“Does that sound good?” she asked the crowd of adoring fans who responded with a resounding “Yes!”

The hitmaker then performed not one, but two mashups.

The first was Should’ve Said No from her self-titled debut album featuring You’re Not Sorry by Fearless.

The second was a mix of Peace from Folklore and New Year’s Day from Reputation on piano.

According to TMZthe NFL star returned to Las Vegas, where he would continue to celebrate their Super Bowl LVII victory with his fellow Kansas City Chiefs players.

Fans who haven’t been to any of Taylor’s concerts will soon be able to watch the Eras concert film as much as they want when it heads to Disney+.

Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour film debuts on the streaming platform on March 15.
