Surely HE’S not 16! Luke Littler, 17, is overtaken as youngest darts player in European Tour history – but fans can’t believe latest star is so young either!

  • Luke Litter rose to fame after being one of the youngest darts sensations
  • The 16-year-old has been overtaken as the youngest player in European history
  • Born Vna Put has now overtaken Littler, but has not enjoyed the same level of success

Luke Littler was recently overtaken as the youngest player in the history of the European Tour.

Born van Put, only 16 years old, has quickly achieved fame thanks to his natural talent. By making the transition from the youth circuit to the professional ranks on the European Tour, Van Put has made a significant impact.

His date of birth of November 19, 2007 makes him younger than Littler when he first appeared on the tour.

However, Van Put’s debut was not as successful as he had hoped, with a 6–3 defeat to Lukas Wenig.

While Littler’s initial success attracted attention, particularly reaching the world finals in January, his journey continues to impress.

Following this performance, he earned a place in the Premier League Darts, where he currently sits in third place after six competition nights.

During a recent match in Brighton, Littler managed to beat Nathan Aspinall before falling to Michael Smith, the 2023 world champion.

Despite the loss, Littler showed his personality on stage and shared a humorous conversation with his friend, The Asp, much to the delight of fans.

Fans were quick to respond to the newcomer, sharing their shock that the Belgian was only 16.

“The people who didn’t believe Luke Littler was only 16 will be shocked tomorrow when they see 16-year-old Born van Put playing on the European Tour,” one user wrote.

“People say Littler doesn’t look that old… The Van Put native is 16,” wrote another.

“No way Born Van Put is 16,” a third added.

“He’s definitely not 16 which makes Luke Littler look like a toddler,” a fourth joked.
