Super Bowl 2024: Ex-NFLer Chad Johnson bizarrely risks his McDonald’s obsession, no sex and DIVORCE in wild bet with the former wide receiver so confident that Travis Kelce and the Chiefs will win

Former NFL wide receiver Chad Johnson said this week that he would divorce his wife, not have sex for the rest of 2024 and give up his beloved McDonald’s for an entire year if the Kansas City Chiefs lost Super Bowl LVIII to the San Francisco 49ers.

Johnson’s confidence in the Chiefs to win their third Super Bowl in the past five seasons was showcased as part of a live taping of ‘Nightcap’ from Las Vegas, with fellow host Shannon Sharpe on stage.

Johnson has been engaged to “Selling Tampa” star Sharelle Rosado for more than a year, though the couple officially tied the knot had not previously been recognized.

Whether or not Johnson abstained or was spilled by Rosado before publicly speaking about it is unclear.

Johnson has also spoken several times about eating McDonald’s during his playing days, and he has continued his obsession with the fast food restaurant in his retirement.

Johnson made a bold bet on the Chiefs this week, despite the team not being favored

“Look, Ocho, you said you were so confident that the Chiefs were going to win this game. You said if they don’t win, you won’t eat McDonald’s for a year, you’ll divorce Sharelle and for a year longer?’ Sharpe asked Johnson.

“I have a hand!” Johnson replied.

Sharpe predicted that McDonald’s Big Macs and Filet-O-Fishes would be the hardest of the three for Johnson to give up in the event of a 49ers victory.

“First of all, the Chiefs aren’t losing,” Johnson added. ‘Let’s start there. I’ve seen the script!’

Best known for his time with the Bengals from 2001 to 2010, Johnson is a six-time Pro Bowler

Rosado was backstage at the taping and watched her husband and Sharpe go back and forth about whether she should look for a new man within 24 hours.

Johnson said he made Rosado wait two years before they had sex.

“Have you ever waited two years to have McDonalds?” Sharpe asked Johnson. The former Cincinnati Bengal responded that the longest he has gone without McDonald’s is six months when he tried to convert to Islam.

With his love for his wife and fast food, Johnson feels confident about risking those things in one football game.
