Kenya Power has issued a notice informing customers of a planned power outage that will affect four counties today.
In a statement, the utility company said the outage will affect Nairobi, Siaya, Kakamega, Siaya, and Kisii Counties.
In Nairobi, the blackout scheduled from 9 am to 5 pm will affect areas in Mombasa Road including; ICD, Palm Oil Transporters, Excel, Alpha Centre, Ramtons, Tuskys HQtrs, Kyang’ombe, Hasbah Kenya, Atlantis Business Park, Posh Auto Body, Wall Street, Jumbo Chem, Tile & Carpet, rime Cartons, Vimit Converters, Pili Trade Centre, Powergen Renewable Energy, Heavy Engineering, Patmos, Laneeb Plastics and Ocean Group.
The blackout in Siaya will affect Bondo areas including; Bondo Hotel, Pride Hotel, Green Court, Bondo University, University Gate B, Atilili, Uloma, Gunda,k Sigomre School and adjacent customers from 9.30 am to 4 pm.
Similarly, in Kakamega, the blackout expected to start from 9 am to 5 pm will affect Matawa and Bukaya areas including Nyapeta Market, Buchifi, Buhuru Market, Bukaya Secondary, Shinamwenyuli, Mutoma,k Musana Market, Buriya Primary, Bungasi Market, Shtukhumi and adjacent customers.
Kisii areas that will be affected from 7 am to 3 pm include parts of Kisii Town such as Denmark & National Petrol Station, KPLC Stores, Ouru Superstores, Supa Loaf Bakery, Daraja Mbili Market, Mwenzangu, Industrial Area & adjacent customers.
