The Colombia born beauty was holding a furry small dog as she enjoyed a ‘summer night’ at her backyard in Los Angeles with pals.
The Modern Family star looked content with her fur child in her arms.
This comes after DailyMail.com’s exclusive report that she ‘graciously’ handed over her senior dog Bubbles, 10, to her estranged husband Joe Manganiello.
It is not known if Sofia will get visitation rights of Bubbles.
The couple announced their split on July 17 with a statement shared to social media.

Joe and Sofia were seven years.
Ten-year-old fuzzball Bubbles is a Chihuahua/Pomeranian mix.
The pair have famously argued over the pooch on social media, often joking the pet likes Joe more.
The two have no children together which will make the divorce proceedings a bit easier (Sofia’s son Manolo was from her first marriage).
According to California law, a judge can weigh in on who should get pets.
In January 2019, a new California law changed the way pet custody is handled in divorce cases.
This new law gives judges the power to consider the care and the best interest of the pet when making decisions in separation or divorce matters.
Before 2019, California courts treated pets like property. The pet would be considered a part of the property to be divided when the marriage ended.
Often judges would base their decision on which party purchased or adopted the animal. Judges had a lot of say in who got the dog and who would just visit.
Pets are still technically classified as personal property, but this new law takes more into consideration.

When quizzed on her dog Bubbles, Sofia said: ‘I don’t have a dog it’s not mine, it’s Joe’s dog,’ despite revealing she originally bought the Chihuahua for herself.
When Ellen showed the audience a picture of the pup, Sofia said: ‘Look at her, idiot.
‘It doesn’t even look like a Chihuahua, it looks like some sort of teddy bear. The dog was for me, I got the dog, but she arrived and completely ignored me. Went straight to Joe. She has taken everything that was mine.’
Joking about how Bubbles has made it clear who her favourite is, she said: ‘It’s not funny – it’s horrible, she’s taken my husband, my bed.

‘She sleeps in bed with Joe, they sleep together and then I sleep on the other side. It has become something so weird.
‘But I have to say it’s not Joe’s fault, it’s her, she’s obsessed with him.’
Ellen then admitted she can understand why someone would be obsessed with Joe, however Sofia quipped back: ‘Yes, but not to that level. She hates me.
‘If he has to go away for work and she knows she has to stay with me in the house and knows she has to deal with me, but won ‘t do eye contact.
‘She’s always looking out, every little noise she’s looking for, she can’t enjoy the time with me. It’s like she knows she has to sit with me cos I’m the only other person in the house.
Ellen said: ‘I have that with my three dogs, they prefer Portia.’
While Sofia joked: ‘Oh so you must be worse than me!’
‘So I was thinking maybe I’d get another dog, but it could happen that they’d also fall in love with him and not with me.’
Sofia then told Ellen how she thought it was awful how she had renamed her rescue dogs, and that her and Joe kept Bubbles’ rescue name.

Vergara, 51, and Manganiello, 46, released a statement.
‘We have made the difficult decision to divorce. As two people that love and care for one another very much, we politely ask for respect of our privacy at this time as we navigate this new phase of our lives.’
A source added: ‘Sofía and Joe have been growing apart for a while now and are taking some distance from each other to contemplate their future.’
The couple wed in Florida in 2015 and have no children together.
The split announcement comes just four days after Manganiello’s birthday tribute to Vergara came under major scrutiny from fans who labeled it as ‘cold’ leading to many fans to wonder about their relationship status.
The hunk took to his Instagram last Monday to share a low-resolution photo of him and his wife cuddled up for her 51st birthday as she celebrated her big day in Italy.
The Magic Mike actor kept the caption simple for his 2.7million fans as he wrote: ‘¡¡¡Feliz Cumpleaños Sofía!!!’
The comment section of the post was full of concerned fans as one wrote: ‘Joe, I hope you guys are ok, that was a very different(cold) happy birthday wish to your wife, compare to previous ones!. [sad face emoji]’
Another said: ‘Something is definitely up. He hasn’t commented on her photos she’s been posted. hmmm…….’
Others questioned the way that the post had come off as he did not say much more than a straightforward greeting.

It is interesting to note that Sofia has not commented on the post.
Entertainment Tonight claimed that the divorce has been coming for a long time.
‘They have been spending time apart and focusing on themselves, their careers, and their loved ones,’ the insider claimed.
‘Sofia has been giving her all to her new beauty brand, toty, and is very involved and excited about it.
‘She hosted an event to celebrate the launch towards the end of June at her home in Los Angeles, and Joe was not there. She did still have a framed photo of the two of them kissing set up in a room in her home.’
There is no word yet on who will get custody of their beloved dog Bubbles. They both shared social media tributes to the canine on July 10 when he turned 10.
The Modern Family star has also been living it up as she is currently celebrating in Capri, Italy and it remains unclear if Joe is on the trip as he has not been featured in any of her social media posts from the trip.
