Snoop Dogg shares story about upsetting Michael Jackson by exhaling pot smoke into his dressing room

Snoop Dogg shared a story about his pot smoke upsetting late pop superstar Michael Jackson during an interview on SiriusXM’s Andy Cohen live.

The 52-year-old rapper was asked Wednesday by host Andy, 55, if he overlapped with Jackson, who died in June 2009 at the age of 50 from an overdose of the anesthetic propofol administered by his personal doctor Conrad Murray, who was convicted in 2011 for involuntary manslaughter.

“Me and Mike were family. His family and my family love each other. We have a record that was never released together. We never had any problems,” Snoop said while wearing a red hoodie and a black skullcap.

“The only problem Mike and I had was we were thinking, what was that thing? Ed Hardy, Christian Audigier. He had an event in Vegas where they had all the clothes and stuff, so he had performers,” Snoop said, referring to the late French fashion designer known for the Ed Hardy and Von Dutch clothing lines.

“He had Michael Jackson perform, Snoop Dogg perform, but where he messed up, he put the Michael Jackson dressing room right next to Snoop Dogg, so Snoop Dogg is there to do this,” the rapper said while smoking a joint.

‘Mm-hmm, and they say, “You know, Michael Jackson’s dressing room is next door.” I’m like, “No, it’s not.” They like to say, “Yes, there,” so I say, “Wait a minute.” Open the door,” Snoop continued, blowing smoke at the camera.

‘Oh wow. You put a lot of effort into it,” Andy said.

”Yes. He’s standing there looking at me,” Snoop said.

“Oh boy. He didn’t like it,” Andy said.

“He said, ‘Snoop, don’t do that,’” Snoop said in a soft, high-pitched voice.

Andy then asked about the unreleased song and wondered who has the master recordings.

‘I have to find out. It’s a record that was made for kind of, you know, he’s made records for the whole world. It was like a peaceful record with a lot of artists on it. He called me one night and it was crazy because the way his voice came over the phone, he said, “Snoop, it’s Mike. I have a song I want you to record.” I said, “Man, anything you want, Mike. It’s no problem. Talk to me.” When we got past the song, he said, “My mom always said you look like someone in my family. I think we’re family,” Snoop said, repeating his Jackson impersonation.

Snoop said he believes he can track it down and find out who has the number.

“I actually want to hear it,” Snoop said.

Snoop, real name Calvin Cordozar Broadus Jr., was on the Sirius XM show to promote his new movie The Underdoggs.

The Real Housewives Of Atlanta star Kandi Burruss, 47, plays a judge in the film and Andy asked if he knew Kandi before the project.

‘That’s my homegirl. I personally contacted her and asked her to be in the movie,” Snoop said.

“Is that right?” Andy said.

“Yes, because I knew we were filming in Atlanta and I knew she lived there, and then I knew she was a great actor and at the same time the role required someone who was just like her, who could be stylish and have a hood, you know what I’m saying?’, Snoop said.

He continued, “She was a class act, like she was great for the role. When she got the part, she only had the script for a week and a half, and then Kandi came along and I was like, “Kandi, let’s make a song. Give us a song for the movie.” She gave me a song and the whole nine, so it’s like I just love her spirit, how she works, how she carries herself, and it was an honor to work with her.”

Snoop wore a colorful outfit to the gathering on Tuesday the star-studded premiere of The Underdoggs in Pasadena, California.

The rapper – whose daughter Cori recently suffered a “severe stroke” that affected her kidneys – put on a brave face to promote the sports comedy, which will be released on Prime Video on Friday.

The artist wore dark blue pants with a lighter colored stripe that wrapped around the knees.

Snoop’s appearance came shortly after his daughter Cori, 24, revealed last week that she had suffered a “major stroke.”

At the time, she uploaded a photo of herself resting in a hospital bed and typed: “I had a major stroke this morning. I started crying when they told me.’

In a separate photo, she had written: “Like I’m only 24, what have I done in the past to deserve all this?”

However, on Sunday she gave her fans and followers a positive update as she took an assortment of selfies while wearing a hospital gown.
