Linet Masiro Munyali is her real name, she was born on 4th August 1987. She is well known as ‘Size 8’.
Size 8 was raised in Maringo Estate in Nairobi. She is the sixth born of six other siblings to a Ugandan man and a Kenyan woman, both members of the clergy.
In her high school, she got a scholarship in State House Girls and was luckily to later join the Hillcrest School.
Size 8 is a Kenyan singer, songwriter and actress popularly known for her singles ‘Shamba Boy’ and ‘Moto’.
She was formerly a secular artist until April 2013 when she released her first gospel song, ‘Mateke’. She has over the years, grown into one of the biggest music sensations in the Kenyan music industry and beyond.
Size 8 is married to Samwel Muraya, commonly known as DJ Mo, a disc jockey in September 2013. Together they have a daughter Ladasha Belle Muraya, born on 19 November 2015. Her mother, Esther Njeri Munyali, died of Kidney related illness, a day after she gave birth to her first daughter.
She has done several music collaborations including with Willy paul, Gloria Muliro and Kambua.
