‘She always raised me as her own’ – Mulamwah mourns foster mother

Kenyan digital content creator who doubles up as a radio presenter Mulamwah is mourning the death of his foster mother.

Taking to his Instagram account on Sunday afternoon of October 13, 2024, Mulamwah broke the devastating news to his followers.

While mourning her sudden death, the content creator disclosed that his foster mother passed on in the theatre room during the procedure.

In the emotional post, the father of three went on the say that the deceased raised and took care of him as her biological child.

“R.I.P Mum. She always raised me as her own. We lost her on the operation table while she was being operated on following a short illness,” Mulamwah mourned.

Funeral arrangements

Additionally, Mulamwah revealed that the burial ceremony will be held on Saturday, October 19, 2024, at their rural home in Kitale Trans Nzoia County.

He further asked his fans to keep his family in their prayers during this difficult moment.

“Burial will be on this Saturday, October 19 in our Kitale Home (Just behind Bikeke Health Centre) Keep us in your prayers at this time of need,” he updated his fans.

Mulamwah’s biological mother

On August 13, 2024, Mulamwah posted a video on his social media accounts with a heartfelt caption while celebrating his aunt after gifting him two ducks.

In the touchy caption, the comedian disclosed that his aunt who gifted him the two ducks raised him when he lost his biological mother at the age of four years.

Appreciating her for taking care of him at a tender age, Mulamwah went on to wish his aunt a longer life.

“My aunt who raised me when I lost my mum at 4yrs …. long live mama,” Mulamwah revealed. 

In the video, seen by K24 digital team, Mulamwah’s aunt gave him instructions and tips on how he would rear the birds.

Hii ni kike na hii ni ndume, itakuwa kubwa, itataga usikule mayai ikiagua,zitakuwa mingi sasa ndio uanze kula mayai,“his aunt instructed.

Nimepewa mbegu bana sio za kukula,”Mulamwah said.
