The forecast for the next 24 hours indicates that the southwest monsoon covering the Andaman Sea, Thailand, and the Gulf of Thailand is relatively strong. Additionally, a low-pressure system is affecting the upper part of Vietnam and the central South China Sea.
This weather pattern is expected to result in increased rainfall and heavy to very heavy rain in some areas, particularly in the eastern and southwestern regions of Thailand. People living in these regions are urged to be on high alert for dangerous conditions, including sudden flooding and swift water flow, especially in foothill areas near waterways and low-lying regions.
Regarding marine conditions, the Andaman Sea will experience waves ranging from2 to 3 metres high, with stormy areas seeing waves exceeding 3 metres. The Gulf of Thailand will have waves between 1 to 2 metres, with stormy areas experiencing waves higher than 2 metres.
Mariners are advised to navigate with caution and avoid sailing in stormy areas. Small boats in the Andaman Sea should remain ashore.

Temperatures will range from 25 to 28°C at the lowest to 31 to 35°C at the highest, with southwesterly winds at 20 to 35 kilometres per hour. The sea will have waves around 2 metres high, and stormy areas will see waves higher than 2 metres.
The southern region (eastern coast) will experience thunderstorms in 40% of the area, mainly in Phetchaburi, Prachuap Khiri Khan, Chumphon, Surat Thani, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Phatthalung, and Songkhla provinces. Temperatures will range from 24 to 27°C at the lowest to 33 to 35°C at the highest, with southwesterly winds at 15 to 35 kilometres per hour. The sea will have waves between 1 and 2 metres, and stormy areas will see waves higher than 2 metres.
