‘It’s one of those things where time heals all wounds and you see me as I’m going through it and picking up the pieces and finding my feet again,’ he told People. ‘But luckily I had great people around me and dove into work.’

The real estate agent went on to note that he keeps reminding himself that ‘divorce doesn’t have to be a bad thing.’

‘You learn and grow from it,’ he insisted.

Since becoming a single man again, Stanaland said he ‘definitely’ speaks up more, despite being an ‘inherently’ more ‘private’ person.

‘I’m not necessarily the center of attention. In season 2, I definitely use my voice a bit more to both my benefit and detriment,’ he reflected while speaking about his presence on Selling the OC.

The pair’s divorce was finalized earlier this summer, following an eight-month legal separation.

The 37-year-old SAG Award nominee and the 33-year-old reality star – who cited ‘irreconcilable differences’ as the reason for the split – agreed to wave spousal support and they’ll be covering their own legal fees, according to TMZ.

In their iron-clad prenuptial agreement, Tyler gets to keep all of his possessions including a leased 2021 Toyota 4-runner and Brittany gets to keep all of her own possessions including a leased 2022 Audi.

Snow and Stanaland never had children, but they appear to have worked out a custody deal to share their two-year-old rescue dog Charlie Pepper.

‘After time and consideration, Tyler and I have made the difficult decision to separate. This decision was made with love and mutual respect for one another. We have realized we need to take some time and make sure we are each living our most fulfilling and authentic lives,’ the Florida-born beauty – who boasts 3.1M Instagram followers – announced on September 14.

‘We started this journey as best friends and our relationship will continue to be a priority not only for us but for our dog Charlie. We sincerely appreciate your support and ask for privacy as we navigate this new chapter.’

Brittany and Tyler originally began dating in 2018 after he slid into her Instagram DMs ‘with the most embarrassing pickup line – a dad joke’ and got engaged a year later.

Snow shared a slideshow on June 25 featuring a video of herself and two gal pals dancing and singing along to Swedish pop star Robyn’s 2010 single anthem Dancing On My Own inside an empty-looking apartment, which might have been her new bachelorette pad.

The September Letters co-author previously opened up about how the past year was ‘probably the hardest mental health challenge I’ve ever faced’ after she ‘was blindsided and every thing I thought I knew, held sacred and truly trusted in my life was completely different.’

‘A couple days later my grandmother passed away and I think every thing I knew about mental health was tested. Thank god for my friends. I don’t know if I would have made it without them. They reminded me who I was and the things I stood for. I used all the tools I knew. All of them,’ Brittany told Bustle on May 23.

‘The last year has been really tricky for me, and one of the girls, I just, you know, opened up her door and I just fell down to the ground and just cried and laid there. And she basically nursed me back to health for like four days. And it wasn’t the one that I thought was going to be able to do that, either…

‘You can have in your toolkit a community of friends that will just sit with you on the floor. They don’t need to give you advice. They don’t need to fix it for you. They just are there.’

Earlier this summer, Snow was hard at work on the Springfield, MA set of Evan Ari Kelman’s father-son hostage thriller Barron’s Cove alongside Garrett Hedlund, Stephen Lang, and Hamish Linklater.

The Christmas with the Campbells star’s next film The Good Half (Robert Schwartzman’s dramedy starring Nick Jonas) and her feature directorial debut Parachute have both been playing the film festival circuit, but have not secured distribution deals.

Stanaland – who’s worked for The Oppenheim Group since 2021 – stars on the Laguna Beach set of Selling the OC, which Netflix renewed for an additional two seasons on January 18.

Before his TV career, the fifth-generation realtor was a professional surfer, and he’s been hitting the waves a lot on recent vacations to Australia and Fiji.
