Self branded 'elderly lesbian' Miriam Margolyes, 82, causes chaos once again on This Morning when she discusses 'steaming her vagina', her sex life and swears multiple times

This Morning was thrown into chaos on Wednesday as guest Miriam Margolyes discussed ‘steaming her vagina’ and her sex life, while she also swore twice live on the show.

Presenter Holly Willoughby, 42, was left red-faced and was forced to apologise to viewers after the outspoken actress, 82, mouthed an expletive before uttering the word s**t’ during the phone in. 

Miriam then raised eyebrows once again as she sat on the sofa for a chat, where she proceeded to speak candidly about her sex life and maintaining her intimate areas.

She said during the X-rated discussion: ‘My friends say I haven’t changed but I’ve always been as naughty and outspoken as I am now. 

‘What I have learnt is to be kind. Otherwise I’m sort of perfect really. I’m 82, I fart a lot, p**s a lot, but I’m still going.

Going on to speak about her sex life, Miriam continued: ‘Sex is not for me now, it is not what it is in life but I will advise and talk about it.

‘Bottoms are friendly if a man flies his… but you can touch bottoms.’

She added: ‘Daniel Radcliffe said I farted and it’s true.’

Meanwhile, speaking of her Vogue cover from June this year, Miriam shared: ‘I thought it was a hoax my agent wrote to them and said would I be on the gay pride issue. 

‘I was happy to take it. Because I’m an elderly lesbian and they prettied me up. My partner won’t read the book because she’s in it and she is shy and she is a well-behaved 80 year old. She is my rock and I adore her and I am grateful we are still together after 50 years.’

And the latest drama was no different as Miriam later once again let slip a swear word live on TV while advising a caller about her partner who paid no attention to her when he came home from work.

Miriam advised the woman to speak to her partner about her feelings, before making the cheeky suggestion that she strip naked and ‘showed him what she’s got’.

The star then added another suggestion, telling the women to take the phone from him and order him to put the ‘f***ing phone away’. 

Though she mouthed the swear word, host Holly was quick to jump in and say sorry to those watching, telling a protesting Miriam that although she didn’t audibly swear, viewers could still work out what was said.  

However, there was no mistaking her swearing moments later when she accidentally said the word ‘s**t’ while dishing her advice to another viewer about their nightmare neighbour.

She told the person to speak to the annoying neighbours and explain her predicament, explaining how her health is becoming affected by the situation.

She went on: ‘And then if they’re still like that, throw the s**t over the wall!’ 

Realising her error, Miriam put her hand over her mouth as she remarked: ‘Oh sorry!’ 

Clearly used to Miriam’s antics, Holly said sorry to fans before telling the TV star: ‘You felt so comfortable that you forgot yourself for a moment there, but it’s fine.’ 

Meanwhile, her co-host Josie Gibson, 38, was in stitches over the blunder.
