Seeing double! Nicole Kidman sends fans wild as she shares adorable pictures of her lookalike poodle 'driving' her car

It is said that pet owners often look like their fur babies. 

And this is certainly the case for Australian actress Nicole Kidman, 56, whose adorable toy Cavalier-cross-poodle Julian boasts strawberry blonde curls that resemble her own auburn tresses.  

Posting to Instagram on Thursday, the Hollywood star shared a hilarious photos of Julian, four, sitting behind the wheel of her car. 

‘Passenger prince takes the wheel,’ she joked in the caption.

Nicole also added several photos of Julian looking exuberant while peering out the backseat window as she took him for a drive.

Fans couldn’t resist pointing out how similar the Nine Perfect Strangers star looked to her beloved pooch, with one commenting: ‘You look related!

‘Twinning!’ another wrote, as someone else added: ‘When your dog looks like you in BMX Bandit’, referring to her red frizzy hair in the iconic 80s film. 

Nicole introduced her fans to Julian in 2019 by sharing an Instagram photo of him alongside the caption: ‘My first puppy… actually my first dog. Been waiting my whole life for this!’

Her husband Keith Urban subsequently gushed about the new addition in an interview on iHeartRadio, saying: ‘We got a dog! [Nicole’s] first-ever dog, ever!’ 

‘I’ve had dogs all my life, but never anything this small. He’s a big hit!’

Nicole is however no stranger to owning animals – she also owns three cats Ginger, Snow and Louis and even has several alpacas on her $6.5million farm in rural New South Wales, Australia. 

In the past she also revealed she had three cats while growing up in Australia.
